    Error 807b01f4 (Apps only)


    Whenever I try to download most apps, I get a message giving error 807b01f4. It comes up before I get any information about the app. It's been going on for at least a week, despite multiple Xbox and router restarts. Curiously, it only seems to affect
    apps in the marketplace, and not games. Things that HAVE NOT worked when selected in the Maketplace are:

    - SkyDrive

    -Netflix

    -Viki

    -iPlayer

    Things that HAVE worked when selected:

    -Any game I've tried so far

    -Halo Waypoint

    -Internet Explorer

    I've tried changing profiles, removing hard drive, clearing system cache and marketplace files, port forwarding etc. I don't download apps very often, so I have no idea how long the problem's been around. I changed my hard drive a couple of weeks ago,
    but since it still appears even when the old hard drive is put back in, I doubt it's that. Any ideas?

    This may mean one of the following:

    There’s a problem with your network setup, and therefore you can’t connect to Xbox Live.

    Your account may be blocked

    try this:

    Solution 1: Clear the system cache

    To clear the system cache, follow these steps:

    Press the Guide button on your controller.

    Select settings, and then select System Settings.

    Select Storage or Memory.

    Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

    Select Clear System Cache.

    When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

    then:

    Solution 2: Reset your system

    To reset your system, follow these steps:

    Press the Guide button, and then select Turn Off Console.

    Unplug the power cable from the back of your router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have both a router and a modem, remove the power cable from both devices.

    After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first and wait for all the lights to return to their normal states.

    Plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal states.

    Turn the Xbox console on again and run the Xbox Live Connection Test. To run the test, follow these steps.

    Note If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, you can turn on the console by using the Guide button on the controller.

    Select settings.

    Select System.

    Select Network Settings.

    Select your network.

    Select Test Xbox Live Connection.

    Solution 3: Open network ports

    If you have a firewall or are connected to a workplace or to a school, college, or university network, you might need to open network ports for your Xbox 360 console to communicate with Xbox Live. See Network ports used by Xbox Live for help opening network
    ports.
