    When I try to buy the 12 month subscription for 83.25 mxn that error code appears, I looked it up on the microsoft page and nothing comes out, I checked if my account has pending payments but nothing appears to me, I would like to
    know why it doesn't allow me to make the purchase

  2. Updating Payment Method - Error 8016ACA7

    When i attempted to put my new payment method onto my console I was given the error code "8061ACA7" along with the message "Cannot retrieve information at this time. Please try again later." I also received an error message on Xbox.com for both PayPal and
    Credit Cards. This has happened for about 3 months.

    Over the past 3-4 weeks I have been in contact with at least 10 agents of varying departments (Live, Billing, Supervisors, etc) and they have all tried to resolve my issue with literally every possible solution. Attempting cache clears, gamertag recoveries,
    verifying all information matches, and re-entering the card through the agent, my console and Xbox.com numerous times; all with no result. They verified that the error was neither the fault of my card nor account.

    I was told 3 times that I would receive a call after 4pm EST, which was when I told them I could be reached. The first two calls were placed at 8am and 2:15pm and I had to call back to once again be told that the case was being sent to the tech team. The
    third time, however, I received a call at the time requested. During each of these calls I had to basically start at square one to explain my problem, even with my reference number, and was run through redundant troubleshooting steps that had been noted as
    being previously completed on my account's Notes. On my last call to the support team I requested compensation in the form of credit for the Xbox Marketplace due to my inability to use my card on my console and the amount of effort I have had to put into seeking
    support. They noted this on my report and sent it on to the tech team (keep in mind this is the third time this is being sent to them).

    When I received the third call-back I was told by the agent that the tech's couldn't find the problem and that I should just keep trying to enter my card myself until it worked. He also informed me that pre-paid cards were my "best bet" until the system
    would accept my card. Clearly this solution is not effective, and I now feel that I wasted that time trying to resolve the issue. Also, no mention was made as to any sort of compensation for what has literally been 6+ hours of my time on the phone trying to
    resolve the issue. I can understand if I had a block on my account or my card was unauthorized, but this is clearly not the case, and unfortunately I am now unable to use a basic feature of the console.

    (This is a copy of the letter I've sent them 2 times, receiving generic responses both times about "Try clearing your cache", etc)

    Anyone have any similar experiences and/or fixes? Thanks guys.

    credentials? isnt that like your accont info?

    Try to go on xbox.com and sign into it and see if u have any messages. might just need to verify an email or something

    No not at all, I cannot connect to XBL at all, I am not sure what is happening, I know my internet is working fine and ive never had issues with this console but since the most recent update my xbox wouldnt download/install it properly and i havent been
    able get online at all its quite lame.

    Well, first things first.... If you want help, conduct yourself in a pleasant and respectable manner. Secondly, we can't help unless you describe a problem fully. Even then, we can only go through steps to try to help, so you need to cooperate. If the answers
    don't work, getting angry is not the course of action, it means we need to dig deeper.

    If someone reads the issue and directs you to a solution, try it out. If it doesn't work, let us know so we can dig deeper.

    And most importantly, understand that we here on these forums are not microsoft/xbox employees, we are gamers such as yourself trying to help out. When an issue requires contacting official support, they wont put up with this kind of attitude over the phone.

    So again I say, please reply and fully explain each issue you are having so we can work through this.
