    Error E203 0000080C 80073CF0

    Unable to reset Xbox. Unusable.

    This update has broken functionality on my Xbox One X.

    One X Custom start up video takes longer to load, guide takes longer to load.

    - HDMI Handshake issues with screen, screen flickered off once on Xbox One green screen, then image reappeared.

    Console did not sign me in as normal, and a tile says 'Connect to Xbox Live'. Once started, is slow to connect, but there are no issues with my network.

    When pressing the guide button, the screen just dims, and is unresponsive. No options present.

    After being patient, I was able to enter My Games and Apps, but was unable to manage installations. Pressing the guide button, hangs console on a black screen, with options you cannot select.

    Unable to use report a problem function, as the screen becomes unresponsive, staying on 'What would you like to do?'.

    After waiting for 7 minutes, console landed on Home. Tried to report these problems again, in the same manner, and it goes back to Home, this time, controller actions non responsive.

    I had enabled Auto update console and games, but I turned it off an hour ago, to see if there was any change. Nothing new to report, and am now unable to change any options.

    I use a Seagate Xbox Game Drive, but unplugged it before doing these tests. No change when plugged back in. Left it unplugged, as I do not want to lose data.

    Power cycled console and Sky + Hub, by removing them from the mains, no change.

    Console still not responsive as normal. Held power button for 10 secs to shut down console. Made things worse. Console will not shut down.

    Powered off via mains for 10 mins.

    - Held Eject + sync buttons for 10 - 30 seconds, to access system menu.

    - Master reset via hardware started (keep games and apps).

    - Controller becomes unresponsive in system menu and turns off when you select 'Reset Your Xbox' (I assume this is normal?).

    After turning the TV off and switching it on 5 mins later, the reset process begins.

    - Stopped at 50%

    - After 25 mins +, system error E203 0000080C 80073CF0 appeared. Update failed.

    Attempted master reset via hardware again, this time, choosing the complete reset.

    - Stopped at 50%, and within 5 mins, came up with the same error as above.

    - Attempted offline install via USB (OSU1) , unable to continue as my OS is in Alpha Ring.

    Posted this here, as I have no other way to get my issues across. Please help. Error 203 0000080C 80073CF0. Update failed, unusable Xbox One X. Alpha Build:... :(

    Good news! I reverted to the beta build and after the update I was able to go through the setup console instructions again. It prompted a code so I am back remote with the series x šŸ˜Š. I guess it was the alpha build that was messing it up. Should I try to go back to the alpha build? šŸ¤”

    and then my Xbox turns off , but if I let it boot up normally it just loads and pops up the error code

    Just not been an issue with my original Xbox one, Xbox one S or Xbox one X. My S is in alpha and X is in alpha SA.

    Well if he's in the insider programn then he got a update today had the same issue the alpha & apha skip ahead builds are broken for 50% of the people that are ih that group so don't update your console if you're in alpha or alpha skip ahead
