    Error 0x89231019 0x80190190 Regarding Party Chat


    As of three days ago I have been consistently getting this error in two ways:

    -I am unable to join any friends' party.

    The message I get is "Something went wrong with your party. Please try again later." with the error code 0x80190190. Searching this one spits out something about Zune Marketplace, which is unrelated to party chat.

    -If I make a party and invite somebody, I get kicked out.

    The message in this circumstance is "We are unable to connect to xbox live at the moment - the service may be down." with the error code 0x89231019. No search has explained the meaning of this code.

    I know it is not a problem with Teredo or with my connection to Xbox. Xbox live service are Up and running, Teredo address is obtained, and my NAT is fine.

    Frustrating problem as no google search has yielded anything useful.

    I'm having the exact same problem minus the Zune marketplace bit.

    Error Code: 0x89231019

    Please help. NAT is great. Wifi + Wired connections both good. Xbox live is active.

    Yet, no explanation.....

    Hello, dayofradiance have you tried going to Settings -Network - Network Settings -Advanced Settings and clear out the MAC address if that doesn't fix the problem please contact us at support.xbox.com thank you and have a great day -

    Hello!

    Hope you are well. I'll be glad to assist you.

    I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues.

    Please try to test connecting your console to another network and check if the same problem occurs, you could configure your smartphone as a Mobile Hotspot and connect your console to that network.

    Connecting to party issues

    In the case of "Fear The Doctor" above... this isn't a Party Chat error like the OP is having.

    You simply have to push the Menu button and select "Party Chat" because for some reason on rare occasions it puts you in a party but not in party chat.
