Discus and support Error 0x87df2ee2 - Forza 5 in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have this as well. it seems to be stopping me from loggin too.     I have this as well. it seems to be stopping me from loggin too. Not sure if it is my bad internet or bad xbox 1

    20 days ago I installed Forza
    5 and was playing normally.

    Since yesterday it had an error 0x87df2ee2 and a message
    : Installation aborted.

    What kind of bug is this?

    Imagine my dissatisfaction!! :-(

    It says installation has stopped try again. Code: 0x87df2ee2. I tried search error code , "no results found". Could someone pls. help?

    troubleshooting steps, I recommend trying a few to see if we can get this issue sorted.

    Please give the following steps a try:



    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
    • Power on your console and start Forza 5 to see if you are experiencing the same error.
    Give the suggested steps a shot and let us know if you are still experiencing error code issue.

    I am having this exact error code as well for only Forza 5. When trying to update, it will stop updating and when I click to resume, it will stop again. I've been at 99% for an hour. I have also already tried unplugging it for 5 minutes on two different
    occasions. Help??

    trying to download skydrive (and other apps)

    I was actually able to solve this problem(atleast for now) by disconnecting my wifi, restarting my console, and resumed my downloads. The error code was 0x87df2ee2 i think

    100% DOWNLOAD - "INSTALLATION STOPPED" ERROR

    I'm having the same issue trying to install any apps. Brand new console, internet is fine, already hard reset. All installs fail at 100% with "Installation Stopped" and error code 0x87df2ee2. Same issue?
