Error 0x80d05011 attempting to download from Xbox PC app

I've been using the Xbox PC app not long after its initial release and have had no problems until last week. Whenever I try to download a game to my PC, it connects for a little bit, downloads around 100mb, then gives me an error of 0x80d05011.

When I search the error in Microsofts lookup tool, I get no results.

I've only found a single thread online about it, where the advice was to remove the proxy. However, I'm not under a proxy. There's nothing that would be blocking the connection. Especially odd since it was working fine previously and nothing has changed
in the meantime that I'm aware of.

I've tried standard troubleshooting, running wsreset, downloading from Windows Store app instead, removing and reinstalling Gaming Services and still have this issue.

Yeah like I said, I've tried the standard troubleshooting. I just ran through it again in case I missed something previously but still have the same problem.

Ok, so this is a bit of a weird one, but I've narrowed some things down. I've been able to resolve and reproduce the error. I'll post my solution in the hope that it helps someone else.

To reproduce the error, I simply put my PC into Sleep Mode while a download is running.

To resolve the issue I did the following:

I've deleted the Xbox (Beta) app.
Run cmd as admin.
Enter the below command:

sfc /scannow
After the above has completed, enter this command:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Shutdown and restart the PC.
Press the Windows Key, then enter wsreset and press Enter.
When that's finished, download and install the Xbox (Beta) app again.

Some users reported that issue with an intel rapid storage running on their computer.

Check if you have it running or not.

Also update all drivers / Windows 10 update too and re-install the app if you still have issue.
