Discus and support Error 0x80bd003b in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I am trying to connect my 3rd external hard drive to my Xbox so I can store my games on there.     I am trying to connect my 3rd external hard drive to my Xbox so I can store my games on there. This is my 3rd one, the 1st two were normal 1 TB 3.0 external hard drives but this one is by Seagate, the 2 TB Game Drive one, so I thought this had to work...
    Turns out it hasn't.

    When I plug the hard drive in to the Xbox, it shows that I can only set as capture location and view the contents of the hard drive. But, even when I try to set as capture location, it says my hard drive isn't fast enough and needs to be a 3.0 connection?
    Even though it clearly is. This is what I have tried in the past,

    1. Different cable

    2. Reset my Xbox several times

    3. Tried different USB slots

    4. Tried different hard drives

    5. Formatting the Harddrive on my PC, Quick and short

    I am so stuck and I've never encountered such a silly issue before, please help me!!

    Sounds like you are needing to connect the Flash Drive to a computer and format it to NTFS. It will erase any data on the drive but should allow you to use the drive on your Xbox

    It most definitely is a 3.0 Drive, the one I have got at the moment is an Xbox One certified Game Drive one. It has a super speed 3.0 cable, just like the others

    Nah I get what you mean, but I just wanted to capture my gameplay, and what I did worked for me :)

    This happened to me too. I just bought me a brand new flash drive 3.0 USB, and now it's giving me this error for some reason. Have you found a fix or solution?

    ive had exactly same problem mate. samsung 3.0 1tb hard drive. did you find solution?
