Error (0x80a4001a)

Whenever i try to log into my account it tells me to

“Try again later” and that “There was a problem, and we could not continue. (0x80a4001a)

Cant do anything on my xbox now as theres no help or advice on how to resolve the issue.

Anyone know anything about this?

Currently there is an active Service Alert stating:

Xbox Live Core Service Limited

Signing in; creating, managing, or recovering an account; search



Affected platforms:



Xbox One



This could be the cause of your issue please check here:
Xbox Live Service Status to check if things are back to normal. Once the Service alert is over you should be able to sign in without further issue.

Try to remove your account from your console and re add it again. Some users reported that worked.

It appears this issue also affects accounts without xbox live; is that correct?

 

If you mean xbox live gold yes....because xbox live is the xbox online service platform and xbox live gold is the subscription, and non gold subscribers are still connected to xbox live always.

Thanks for reaching out! We understand this is concerning and frustrating since the console will not sign in the profile.
Here is something you can give a try that others said helped resolve this issue.
Try the following:

First, remove the profile:

SIDE
NOTE: Saved games and progress acquired online are backed up in the cloud. Gamerscores, achievements, purchased games/DLCs,
etc. are tied up to the account. Just make sure you know the email and password of the account you have issues with.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.
3. Select the account that needs to be removed, and then select Remove to confirm.
4. When you're finished, select Close.

Next do a
power cycle on the console. Don't add the profile yet.

1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
2. Wait 2 minutes before powering it back on.

Finally, re-download your profile by selecting the icon at the upper-left corner of the dashboard. Select ADD NEW,
input your email and password.
