Error 0x8027025a. What to do besides reset?

If there is an external hard drive connected to your console now, please turn off your console and then disconnect the external hard drive. Turn on your console without it and see if it works fine.

If the offline system update doesn't work, you will really need to try the factory reset procedure to try sorting out the issue.

Generally hard resets fix most issues, and that particular error seems to have been resolved by others using a hard reset.

goes to screen with error message 0x8027025a. but can not get out of that screen. yes it started yesterday

did the whole unplug and reset thing
