    Error 0x8027025a cannot sign in to Xbox s.


    Have had issues with Xbox for last week, not being able to sign in. Today it gave this error.

    We have done a hard reset and as much troubleshooting as possible online. Nothing is working.

    - To clarify, was the reset done keeping games and apps or removing everything?

    - Is signing in to accounts the only action that results in getting the 0x8027025a error? are you able to navigate the console's home screen and settings menu?

    Current network status gives

    the name of the wifi we are connected to

    NAT Type: Open.

    2.4GHz

    iPv4

    All services are available

    It is connected to the internet via Wifi.

    I troubleshot the networking the other day. Took it off the wifi and connected to my phone via hotspot with no change to the problem of not being able to sign in.

    Hi AJ,

    The reset today was done not keeping anything as we tried that option with no result a few days ago.

    I am able to navigate to settings etc on the Home Screen, but every time I go to add a new account (+ Add new), it goes to wheel of death for 5 or so mins, then either the error above or “something went wrong, try again at another time”
