    got this error "there was something wrong with your network" when launching xbox insider hub app

    I have encountered this error when launching xbox insider hub app from within xbox one.

    and sometimes "excep_fromHresult 0x80072eff (0x80072eff)

    I am trying to download preview update from xbox insider hub, but never was able to download a preview update.

    The same error happens when pressing xbox logo on the controller for 5 seconds and try to report a problem.

    Please help.

    ive used both the normal and the beta app and im unable to start or join a party chat now all i get is a error code [0x80072eff] its been a problem for over a week now.

    Well ive managed to fix it myself without any help from windows or xbox support as neither of you could figure out this problem. it seems to be a bug between windows updates and the windows 10 store so in order to fix this i had to go into Network & Internet
    > Proxy > at the bottom click internet options > Advanced tab > reset internet explorer settings and the moment ive done this the xbox app works perfectly fine. Very disappointing that actual actual paid support workers could not figure this problem out!

    ive spoken to both xbox support and windows 10 support via online chat and nothing they have brought up has fixed this problem ive gone through all the troubleshooting ideas and still nothing, and ive put in several feedbacks via the app and for over a month
    now nothing has been done.

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing this. Have you gone through the standard troubleshooting like deleting your profile and re-adding it, or installing the Xbox (beta) app and seeing if the issue reproduces there?

    If you're still experiencing this, can you please submit feedback using the Xbox (beta) app by selecting the Feedback option from the menu dropdown in the top left corner? This will allow us to do a more thorough investigation with data from your PC.
