Error 0x800706b5 on one game (crusader kings 3) installs to 100% then gets stuck on this error

Hey, running into even more issues with game pass after thinking I had fixed them

Now for some reason I cant seem to play this one game, which is the main one I resubbed for (crusader kings 3)

it installs to 100% and just shows this error

tried lots of fixes which appear commonly on here like powershell stuff, and reinstalling xbox game services etc. but no success.

tried deleting the files and reinstalling but still nothing. Ive also tried repairing windows

I have had this game installed before, but I wiped all my games trying to fix another issue I had, so im not sure if its getting some old files from somewhere.

here are a bunch of other issues I have had from game pass. sometimes the games work, sometimes they dont. I managed to install a game fine today called disc room

would appreciate help as ive been having issues with game pass for months now

Yes, rest assured that you will not lose any file. Only Windows native system files will be replaced doing this.

You mentioned that you repaired Windows. Was this done by using a ISO image file or you went to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC?

Also, are you on the Xbox Insider Program?

If you don't know what the Xbox Insider Program is, probably you are not on it.

Ok. Please try to restore your Operational System via the ISO Image Tool. You will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

If you're using Windows 10:

If you're using Windows 11:

Download it > Open the ISO image tool > Open setup.exe > Select upgrade > Download from the cloud > Keep games and apps.

After restoring it, please go to Start > Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking > Test your connection. It should show Open NAT and connected to server. If you receive any error message, please let me know.

If you are using Windows 11, install the Xbox Companion App and test your connection there.
