Error 0x80070017 when attempting to install A Plague Tale

I tried to install A Plague Tale from the XGP app on PC but get a 0x80070017 error around the 25% mark initially. I cancelled and attempted to reinstall and this time it's at 0% that I get the same error. Forza Horizon 4 is currently installing without
an issue.

A problem with the server (and in particular the source for the game)?

Check if there is a Windows update, 0x80070017 error is usually associated with files that are needed by the system and they are either corrupted or can't be found.

Looks like the HDD is dying. it’s faiing to get more than 10% through a short dst.

This error just appears when you tried to install Fallout 76?

I have been able to install Forza Horizon and Football Manager 2021 successfully, but I'm getting that error code when trying to install 'What remains of Edith Finch', and 'A Plague Tale: Innocence' as well as Fallout 76.

With all 3 its happening at 0% downloaded

A plague tale innocence is the one I'm getting ready to check out I installed it yesterday then didn't get to it

I've tried installing the Outer Worlds to test, and I get the same error with it. I've not played that game before unlike the others I mentioned.
