Error 0x80048051

I'm getting error code 0x80048051 when I try and sign in on the One. What happens is I turn on the console, tell it to sign in my profile, and I get the error message and a "try again later or maybe check your account..." message. Logged into here and
through Microsoft and everything tells me my account is fine, I have Gold through the end of the year (December 2014, I did check that), etc. I then run the network connection test and it checks out fine for both network and multiplayer.



It's been about a week since I was last online and there are no changes to anything related to my internet. Any suggestions?

Can't Connect to Live But Have a Network Connection

I can't connect to Xbox Live. Trying to play Destiny and gives me an error of 0x80048051

 

Yeah I am now getting the same thing, tried doing an internet search but didn't come up with anything. So if you do It would be great if you posted that here.

 

I am having the same issue. I am not actively connected to the internet but need to be to play Assassins Creed Black Flag. I just want to log into my profile but not actively partake in and multiplier. Frustrating as hell. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your account.

Just to double check, you are able to connect to Xbox Live but not sign in to your account, correct?

• Are you able to sign into other accounts on your console?

I would also recommend trying these steps:

• Remove the profile from your console
  
• Turn off your console by holding the Power button on the console for ~10 seconds
  
• Turn back on your console
• Add your profile back to the console
  

Please keep us posted on how everything goes.

 

Same thing happened to me just now. Playing nba2k14 with 30 sec. Left and i get signed out. So annoying.

 

This just started happening to me after I enabled the "Resume games quickly (BETA) setting under the Power & startup section of settings. Maybe it has something to do with that. I disabled it, and it still isn't working. I guess it could just be the Microsoft
servers are acting up, but I'm no tech wiz. Any suggested fixes would be most helpful.

 

When I held the power button down for 10 seconds and rebooted I was at least able to log into my account again but still had troubles connecting to live. I ran the network check and it came back clean and good to go. However, I can't see my pins or use any
other apps that require live and it just keeps forcing me to test my connection. I ran the multiplayer network check and got the message, Can't get a Teredo IP address. Whatever that means.... I'm on a campus network so I can't open ports or unplug the router
so the tips provided when that happens aren't helpful. :/ Anyone else still having this problem?

 

Deadly, the best chice for you is to probably go to your campus' IT department and get some help from them. It's definitely something that they're going to have to do to get you online.

Hi had this problem on my xbox one this morning and wat i did was powered down xbox and unplugged it then turn off my internet for a few mins then powered back up interney and wait til i cud connect then turn xbox back on and i was back online again hope
this helps if u havent got sorted already

 

i read some of these answers and all i did was turn off my xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds, i switched it back on and it was fine

 

I've had the same problem with mine, works with a crappy old router that won't work on my laptop but won't work on BT home hub even when I've connected it through Ethernet cable.

powering off and removing the power cable didn't work for me, neither did the same steps but also resetting the wireless router.

Having the same issue here. I'm able to sign in into my account (sometimes) but it seems to be impossible to log back into live. All ports on hardware are open. Internet connection is working fine according to xbox one tests.

What should I do?
