  1. Error 01600 or 002000? LOOK HERE!

These errors are problematic because they come, sometimes resolve themselves, and come back usually after a Windows Update is pushed out to the public. There are multiple causes for these two errors but the heart of it is that your PC/Tablet can't connect
to the Xbox network for whatever reason.

These are all the steps we know to try which resolve most of the issues. I've put them in order from easiest to most difficult (depending, of course, on your familiarity with computers)

    Restart Your PC/Tablet

Did you know that shutting down your PC/Tablet WILL NOT give you a clean boot? Most people don't, so no worries. The ONLY way you can get a clean reboot is to choose restart from the shut down menu. Physically turning your PC/Tablet off will
not do it, choosing "shut down" will not do it, choosing "sleep" will not do it.

    Steps:

    1. Go to your Shut Down menu (you can get it to it by pressing the Windows key, type Restart, click on Turn off Your PC, go to the bottom of the Settings window that will appear & press the Power button)
    2. Select "Restart" from the menu

    Make Sure Xbox Isn't Down

Sometimes the Xbox network goes down. To check this, go to http://www.xbox.com and log in with your account. Click on Support.

On the Support Page, you will see a link near the top that says "Xbox Service is Up" or "Xbox Service is Limited" or "Xbox Service is Down" If service is limited or down, you may not be able to log into your game until the service is fixed.

You can also go to Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage

Make Certain Your Windows Updates Didn't Get "Stuck"

Did you know that even if you have Automatic Updates selected, some Windows Updates can get "stuck" for various reasons? Lots of people (myself included) have discovered much to their surprise that some Windows Updates just simply
didn't go through like we thought they did and it affects the performance of the entire machine.

    1. Press the Windows key
    2. Type in Windows Update
    3. Under the search bar you see on the right, choose Check for Updates
    4. In the Windows Update screen, press the Check Now button
    5. Even if it doesn't seem to find any updates, click on View Details
    6. Install any updates you see that haven't been installed - including optional ones
    7. Go to your Shutdown menu and choose 'Restart' from the options. You must choose restart- turning your PC/tablet off will not work!

Uninstall & Reinstall with a Clean Windows Store Cache

    1. Uninstall Microsoft Solitaire Collection (to uninstall, right-click on the app icon and choose Uninstall from the bottom menu)
    2. Press Windows Key and R
    3. In the box that pops up, type wsreset.exe and press Enter
    4. The Windows Store will launch for you (with its cache nice and clean!)
    5. Hover over the right-hand side to bring up the charm bar and go to Settings
    6. In the Settings Menu, go to App Updates
    7. In the App Updates menu, press both Check for Updates AND Sync Licenses
    8. Press the arrow key at the top left to go back
    9. In the search bar at the right, type in Microsoft Solitaire Collection
    10. Reinstall Microsoft Solitaire Collection

    Refresh Your Computer

    1. Press the Windows Key
    2. Click on Refresh Your PC Without Affecting Your Files
    3. Let it work its magic
    4. Restart
    5. Launch the game again

Make Sure Your Firewall/Anti-Virus Isn't Blocking The Apps

Unfortunately this step varies by whatever anti-virus or firewall you use. You will need to open your settings and make sure that it is not blocking any apps. If your anti-virus/firewall has an app "whitelist", you will need to make sure your Xbox enabled
    games are on this list.

    Clear Your Disk Cache

    1. Close Solitaire using ALT+F4 while it is running
    2. Open up Windows File Explorer
    3. Click the "View" tab at the top
    4. Check the box that says "Hidden Items"
    5. Go to the following folder: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\[GAMENAME]\LocalState\
    6. [USERNAME] – is the name you use to log in to the computer
    7. [GAMENAME] – is something with Solitaire in the name. Something like this for example:
    8. Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection_8wekyb3d8bbwe
    9. Delete the folder DiskCache.
    10. Run Microsoft Solitaire Collection again.

Download the free game Shuffle Party and tell us what error code you get

Not only is Shuffle Party a fun, free game, it's also a useful diagnostic tool for us.

    1. Go to the Windows Store
    2. Type in Shuffle Party
    3. Download Shuffle Party
    4. Run Shuffle Party
    5. Tell us what happens. You can contact us via Facebook (the fastest way!), here, or via our support email *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

Pull Windows Event Viewer Logs & Email Them To Us

We will try to help as much as we can but please be aware that some problems are entirely out of our scope- but if we do have to refer you elsewhere at least we can give you a more specific thing to ask so you don't get the "runaround". That is absolutely
    the LAST thing we want!

    Please do the following:

    1. Reproduce the crash/problem in the game.
    2. Press the Windows Key & Type Event Viewer
    3. Click on Event Viewer
    4. The Event Viewer window will pop up
    5. Look at the area on the far left and you will see Windows Logs. Click on the tiny arrow to the left of it to expand it.
    6. Click on Application (just one click) & you will see stuff appear in the center.
    7. Scroll down in the top, center area until you see either an Error or Warning. Look at the details window below it to see if it has to do with your app.
    8. If you do, take a screenshot or note what this error/warning is.
    9. Click on System in the left menu & you will see different stuff appear in the center.
    10. Scroll down in the top, center area until you see either an Error or Warning. Look at the details window below it to see if it has to do with your app.
    11. If you do, take a screenshot or note what this error/warning is.
    12. Send us these screenshots and/or details on these error/warnings via Facebook (fastest!) or our support email *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

We are doing what we can to help, but please remember that we are limited on what we can do and our scope of knowledge. Thanks! Error 01600 or 002000? LOOK HERE! :)

    Unexpected Exception/Error Code 002408

    Hi Lullabaloo,

That error code usually happens when your game cannot connect to the Internet and the easiest way to solve that error is to restart your system. Just make certain that you choose "Restart" from the shut down menu. If a restart doesn't get you back into the
game, please see the following: www.facebook.com/.../1445292379049509
