    Erratic face button behavior on Series controller


    I recently purchased a Series controller for use with a PC. I discovered that the A button will cut out erratically while I'm holding it down if I use the left joystick. i.e. If I hold A and LS -> at the same time, character moves left while sporadically jumping and short hopping with no rhyme or reason.

    I checked the Xbox Accessories app, and it appears to be a hardware issue.

    Is there anything I can do to fix this? I want to use the controller for platforming, but I can't use a controller for platforming if the jump button behaves erratically while moving.

    I have had the exact same issue with several series X controllers. I love the feel and shape of these controllers but the face button issue has me buying 3rd party controllers until this gets fixed.

    This is silly. On the 360 you simply hit the guide button. Now you have to wait until the controller becomes erratic before you know the batteries are low?

    Is MS working on a fix for this?
