Eroor starting games - states download gaming services but already installed

Hi Folks,

Recently bought Xbox game pass for PC but can't play any games. When I go to install game from Xbox App, it states I don't have gaming services downloaded.

Have taken the following actions with no luck;

uninstalled and reinstalled including via windows powershell serveral times.

re-installed the Windows Xbox app as well to no avail.

Have restarted several times

Signed in to same account on xbox and store

updated GFX drivers

WIndows is up to date

Am at my wits end - would welcome any suggestions.

I have the exact same problem tried everything and it still doesn’t work. Would be nice if we got some actually feedback.

Судя по тому что Майкрософт ни чего не сделал уже больше недели ,мне кажется им по на эту проблему

yup me as well..... tried to download profile but get the eroor. But when i originally started it on my friedns ... it still works on his.

Im getting the same problem it will start Downloading when stop not move for ages then this eroor pops up wasted like 2 hours on this

Yes. Happens with all the games it just started with Gold with Your Friends. But now I cannot even initiate a download. Now it wants me to install Gaming Services even though it is already installed.
