Epic Xmas morning fail-not a single game we own is compatible

This stinks. We have loads of games, some bought within the last few months and not-a-single-one-will play. I saw "backwards compatibility" and assumed when we put a man on the moon almost 50 years ago that MS would have this all covered. No-nothing is
compatible. No Call of Duty, no Madden none of the top games. This thing is going back tomorrow. What a waste of money.

I Was THIS Close To Buying XBox One

voice chat through kinect while playing a game is terrible though skyrim is a single player game, play skyrim while in party chat and you see why it's not good at all.

hdmi cables are cheap though like $5 or so. but not including one IS stupid. people are gonna open their console on xmas morning and be like "where is the cable"

Backwards compatibility Error Code (0x8082000c)

I made a mistake looking at the list. 3 of those games, the ones i actually want to play, are xbox 360. The only one thats actually compatible is jedi starfighter. The others only compatible if they're the 360 version. Epic Fail, MS...im gonna have to
stop bragging about how good you are.

Backwards compatible titles require the developer and/or publisher to sign off on making the game available on the Xbox One. Some titles may never come to the XB1 console due to license arrangements between content owners; however, there are new game being
added every month. BC has only been officially available for 2 months now so expect the library to grow over time.

In addition to the publisher sign off each game must be certified; since this is handled via software emulation and not physical hardware the certification process does cause some delay in how quickly a game can be added to the list.

Having said that; make your voice heard; head over to
xbox.uservoice.com/.../298503-backwards-compatibility and vote for the titles you want to come to the Xbox One. There is no guarantee but this list is actively monitored and allows for the parties involved in making it happen see that there is demand for
specific titles which helps prioritize which games come to the XB1 console.

Or just buy the game xmas eve so it's there for you on xmas morning.

Or buy the game for you xmas morning & by the time you've spent the day with your family it will be downloaded ready for you to play.

Leaving it to the last minute to buy a digital download isn't really an issue is it?

we could all get that score but like me most of us will never fully complete everygame in our library, if i completed every single game i own on the 360 and one i would surpass that score. well done Epic, you have done what most of us cant lol.
