I can't registerd my new xbox one pad

I also wanted to add that any Xbox accessory has a 90 day warranty from date of purchase. It's best to just hang on to the receipt as proof of purchase just in case.

Overheated XBOX One controller

If the controller is over 90 days old there would not be any warranty on it. You would probably be better off replacing it especially if it is over 90 days old.

Not sure who you bought it from of what information you are talking about being incorrect so if you have had it less than 90 days maybe you can provide that information. Keep in mind the 90 days is from time of purchase so it that was an individual that
you bought it from online the time the owned it counts toward that 90 days.

You don't trade in games though with xbox

That sounds like something a retailer would do

You will have toove contact the retailer that provided that promotion

You cant trade in games as xbox store is digital only and no you cant trade in game

If it is a ms store that's different you must contact ms store supoirt

to be honest it does need a lot of fixing. I purchased a game through the Xbox app that had a 90% offer. I purchased it only to find out that I never got the game and the offer was only on the app and not on Xbox for some reason.

This is the xbox forums and we can offer info only of the warranty conditions offered by Microsoft:

support.xbox.com/.../console-kinect-warranty

Topic 1 section g:"Warranty Period" for Xbox One means 1 year from the date You purchased it; and for Accessories, means 90 days from the date You purchased it"

For the conditions offered by the third part retailers you should contact them directly.
