Enforcement is in place longer than it says it should be

I got suspended over the weekend and it ended like 7 hours ago, but it says I’m still banned. Game chat works on deep rock galactic, but i can’t send messages, even though it says “No suspensions” under my active suspensions. What do I do?

Hi there!

Try to simply restart your console to refresh it. Press & hold the console power button until you see the option to Restart.

If that doesn't work, try to re-add your account.

Note: Before doing these steps, please make sure that you know exactly the email address that was linked to your gamertag and the password to it so you can add the correct account again.

1. Remove account:
Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. When you're finished, select Close.

2. Power cycle:
Press and hold Xbox's power button for 10 sec. Unplug the power supply for 30 sec. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

3. Add account:
Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new.

Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select Enter.

The enforcement team no longer use the enforcement forums. There is no direct way to contact them other than the appeal process. Anyway, there is no way to appeal a ban that is only 24 hours in length. You went to the correct place initially. Happy Gaming!

The only way to contact the enforcement team is by submitting a case review on the enforcement website (http://enforcement.xbox.com). However, since your enforcement took place longer than 18 months
ago you may not be able to submit a review. Once accounts are banned, they are not unbanned though.

http://enforcement.xbox.com

That is the only place the Enforcement Team resides and it should give you any details on any suspension or enforcement action on your account.

The Enforcement Team no longer frequents these forums so unfortunately you will not get an answer from them here.
