    Encountering trouble whilst trying to change my gamertag


    I put in my new gamertag, it was available. I have changed it once before and i am aware that i have to pay to change it twice. But whenever i press change gamertag, it takes me back to the same page and has a message that says "Sorry, something went wrong. Try your gamertag again". Its been doing this for 3 days. Ive tried to reset my xbox, ive tried doing it from the website, and it still doesnt work. Someone help.

    Calling out gamertags is not allowed on the forums.

    Asking people to report someone they have not encountered online can also get you into trouble & anyone reporting someone they have not encountered online can get them into trouble for abusing the report feature.

    Just report this person & block them & the enforcement team will investigate.

    This is not my problem. My problem is the fact that my Xbox 360 says that a Gamertag is already taken, while the website shows that that gamertag is in fact NOT in use. And I am pretty sure this way you'll lose all your gamerscore from the main account,
    since I believe the gamerscore is linked to the gamertag, unless changes whilst paid for.
