Enabling Teredo server to play online Xbox games on PC

Uninstall and reinstall the Teredo adapter

To uninstall the Teredo adapter:

1. Right-click the Start icon, and then select Command Prompt (Admin).
   
2. Run the following command from the Admin command prompt:
   netsh interface Teredo set state disable
   
3. Right-click the Start icon, and then select Device Manager.
   
4. Select View > Show Hidden Devices.
5. Select Network Adapters.
6. Identify any adapters that contain "Teredo," such as Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface or
   Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter. Right-click the adapter name, and then select
   Uninstall.
7. Restart your PC.

To re-enable the Teredo adapter:

1. Right-click the Start icon, and then select Command Prompt (Admin).
   
2. Run the following command from the Admin command prompt:
   netsh interface Teredo set state type=default
   

Note The
Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter will reinstall automatically. Don’t install the
Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface adapter manually in Device Manager, as this may cause issues with Teredo functionality.

Thank you for keeping us updated. It is possible that the router or gateway that you are using needs to have the teredo function enabled. This can be done by logging in to the router settings. In order to log into the router or gateway, the make and model
of the router or gateway must be known. An example of this is the Netgear(Make) R9000(Model). Be sure to let us know the results!

Thanks for the reply, but as I have noted, none of the Teredo drivers show up in Device Manager. I also cannot install them via the "Add legacy drivers" option. So it's physically impossible for me to follow your solution. In fact, I have already come
across that exact same answer numerous times.

Same and when I reinstalled it finally now my Xbox said the servers were down. Now the servers are finally up and its saying something about a Teredo IP address. I looked it up , enabled teredo, and enabled Ipv6 and still can't find a Teredo IP address
this is so annoying

You have Teredo unable to qualify and server connectivity blocked. This can cause a lot of issues since you cannot connect properly with the Xbox servers.

Please click on "Click here for more information" on your connection test to try to make these two error messages disappear.

If you are running Windows 10 Pro please follow these steps:

Press Windows + R, type gpedit.msc and press enter;

Under Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > All Settings

Find "Set Teredo Client Port" , "Set Teredo Default Qualified" , "Set Teredo Refresh Rate", "Set Teredo Server Name", "Set Teredo State". Change these settings like below:

Set Teredo Client Port - Enable - input " 0"

Set Teredo Default Qualified - Enable - choose "Enabled State"

Set Teredo Refresh State - Enable - Choose "30" or "20"

Set Teredo Server Name - Enable - input "win10.ipv6.microsoft.com"

Set Teredo State - Enable - choose "Client" (If after doing all steps it fails, try choose Enterprise Client instead.)

Then follow the steps on the Xbox website for both issues, restart your computer and see if your connection result shows Open NAT and connected to server.
