    Enabling Console Streaming


    Hi all,

    I received an invitation for and can run xcloud, but when I can't start streaming from my console. I have the xbox insider hub app on my console and the xbox game streaming app installed on my phone, but the next step is to "follow the steps in the app to pair your xbox one console, android device, and xbox wireless controller with bluetooth."



    However, in the app, when I go to the Console Streaming tab, it only says, "Join the Xbox Insider Program to stream games from your Xbox One. Learn More", where "Learn More" is a link that takes me to a web page that tells me to follow the steps in my app. I never actually find directions to pair my phone with my controller and console. What am I missing?

    Hello!

    I recommend you some steps bellow, please:

    Remove or delete your profile and console from One Cast register.

    After that, empty the cache of your console. You can do that holding the "stand by" button till the Xbox turn off. Then, unplug the energy cable from the console for some seconds.

    Now, turn on your console, go to: settings > devices and streaming > console streaming and check the box "enable console streaming". If it's already enabled, disable it and enable it again. Select "test console streaming" now.

    Hey there!

    Unfortunately you would need either a TV or a compatible monitor to enable the streaming settings on the console, only then will you be able to stream your games unto the Xbox App in your laptop.

    Hi Micah,

    There's a couple of things you've already stated, but i'll just cover again for incase.

    I suggest you have your PC and Xbox on the exact same network connection, with the same IP range and subnet range.

    You need to enable game streaming on the console. under Settings > preferences > connectivity and enable game streaming.
