Enable Invite Friends Using Microsoft Account

Let's set up your account then

Go to the top right corner, click on your avatar

click on xbox profile(warns me if it doesn't show up)

will open a green screen

click on privacy

will open another screen, with your gamertag and big photo in the center of it

below, it has 3 tabs, privacy, online security windows and xbox

in these 2 tabs, allow everything, and at the end of each one, click "send"

its on by default, you just have to add friends and invite regardless of platform as they all use xbox live and microsoft accounts.

Hi, sorry for the issues you are having. What game are you attempting to invite your friend to? And I know sometimes there is a delay for the invite option to become enabled.

Any way to fix this yet? all ever time i try to join a friend or invite a friend it says enable to connect every time

What is the exact message prompt that pops up? I've had issues in the past where the game would tell me my family account settings didn't allow me to invite and join friends and such, even though my account isn't tied to any, but it was fixed after restarting
the game. Minecraft can be buggy sometimes.
