enable 4k content download isnt there!!!

just got my xbox scorpio today, all the downloads for the dashboard and everything are up to date but for some reason when i go to settings, systems, back up and transfer the button to enable and download 4k updates is not there and i have tried every to
make it appear. it is there on my xbox one and i used my back up settings when setting up the scorpio but it just doesnt want to appear. any suggestions would be helpful???

How do I verify I pre-loaded my game in 4K?

He’s right, it will say “durango only” next to assets if you don’t have the 4k assets installed.

FYI for those that don’t know to have your xbox start downloading 4k assets you have to enable it in settings/system/backup&transfer/download 4k game content

 

Quantum Break Doesn't Detect Xbox One X, HELP!

This does not help. The "Download 4K game content" option only appears on non-4K Xbox's. This option is not available on the Xbox One X. In "theory," 4K content is downloaded to the Xbox One X by default. This in NOT the case
for my Xbox One X, however, as it does not download the 4K content for Quantum Break. All of my other 4K enhanced games work without a problem. Quantum Break is the only title that I have that refuses to grant me access to Xbox Enhanced content.

 

that feature was to preload the 4k patches to the games so you have them installed when you transfer your games to the xbox one x. If you start a game on the xbox one x that is enhanced for the console and there is no prompt for an update it means you already
have the 4k assets.
