    Empire of Sin not starting


    When I try and load up Empire of Sin after installing through Game Pass for PC from the Xbox app, the splash screen comes up, then it immediately closes.

    There is no run as administrator option, I was able to locate the file with the .exe in at C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\ParadoxInteractive.ProjectRenegadePC_1.4.41148.2_x64__zfnrdv2de78ny but am unable to launch from there due to the error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the permissions to access the item."

    I did change ownership of the WindowsApps folder and contents in order to access it.

    I am logged in as an administrator.

    After posting a support ticket on the developer's website, they responded that they are aware of the issue and currently creating a patch and hope to release it soon. Keep an eye out for it and let's hope we can actually play the game.

    Thanks but it doesn't work for me... I have a white window than a black and after the window shut down without launching Nier Automata.

    With empire of sin I have found a way to work around it. Keep clicking the play button will eventually get the laucher to load up and I can play that way. Not an ideal solution but better than nothing.
