Email Wrong Language

Hi,

Every time I receive a mail from Microsoft. It is in a language that I don't even understand. All my settings and regions are in the good place and the good language, so I don't know how to change the language for the email I receive.

Hello Thomas,

Email settings misconfiguration could be a reason why you're receiving emails in a different language. We suggest checking if your time zone and country in the settings is correct. Here are the steps on how to check time zone and country of your account:

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/ and sign in.

Select Edit personal info.

Locate Home, choose your country on the drop-down that you can see beside Country/ region.

Kindly set your Country's region and time zone.

Hit Save.

Thanks for your post. Have you received emails like this one before but in English? This should not continue and could be an error with the internal mailing list. Be sure to check the information on your

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. I see this is the first time this has ever happened, but have you kept running into this? Or was this just recent and you have not received any other emails?

Not too sure why it would send out the email in a different language but I would suggest giving it sometime to see if it was possibly an isolated incident or if it's a continuing issue.
