email provider closed. it was the only account i used forx xbox. Cant sign in now.

My email provider {which I used for 20 years) recently shut down completely and combined with some sort business software company. Both my late husband and I used ureach as our set up accounts for xbox. I never used anything associated with microsft before,
except since Microsoft bought xbox. But now i have ended up with about 10 microsoft profiles because it always says password invalid, make a new one. Please help. I do not want to lose my account nor my late husband's because he set up most of the games
using his email address. So. If i lose the ureach accounts i will lose most of my games. and BTW, i did not know his email password and it's a little late to ask him now,

And as a byword, i just created this Microsoft account. Let's see if it sticks once i sign out.

Sorry to hear whats going on. I would recommend calling Microsoft support at 800-642-7676 for assistance. And going forward as a heads up, please do not include your personal information in your Xbox forums. They will automaticallybe removed to protect your
privacy.

you can change the email but you cant change it too a email that is already used for a xbox account. When you sign into xbox live you use the email too sign in so only one account can be attached.

The only way around this issue would be too close the sisters microsoft account this takes 60 days not 30. (unless its changed) this would close anything too that account anything like a microsoft email such has hotmail outlook live MSN etc including any
offlice basicly anything microsoft will be gone and you cant get it back after the 60 days.

After the 60 days you could make a new microsft account and claim that email providing no one beats you too it.

All all honestly its proberly best just too make a new email and move your xbox account too that or just keep the email you have its only a email after all

Did you use a third party email (like Gmail, Yahoo, or any other email provider that is NOT Microsoft), or was your login email a Microsoft Account email (like for example Hotmail, Live.com or Outlook.com)?

What the person probably did was sign into your Microsoft Account, and add his own email as a sign in Alias, made his email the primary login email, and then removed your email from the Account.

When you signed in to your Xbox Account, the Xbox didn't find any Gamertag for your account, and created a new one.

In order to "boot em out", you would have access to THEIR email alias. Or use the link I provided above.

The phone support can't really help, as they have been instructed to be as cautious about restoring access to someones account, unless they can provide enough proof to prove the ownership of the account.

The best way would be to use
the link I provided in my previous post. Fill the information out, and it will go to the right department who will then contact you.

lol i have one more issue ok i made my girl friend an account on my xbox but i cant get into the account cuz when i made it i forgot what email and password i used and now we cant sign on because of the proof thing and it
wants the email and password

Ive had the same thing happen except i created 2 accounts DiscordBlade and DiscordBlade1 but one day i got signed out but couldnt remember the password to my emails or to the profile and ive tried to recover my email but when i change my password it only
does it for my profile not my email so i still cant sign in on my xbox because it wants to verify my account but i put in random answers that i cant remember and now i lost accounts with game and characters that i cant use again i hope somone reads this because
its been 2 years and no one has helped me.
