That would still be considered a Microsoft email so if you deleted that then you deleted your whole account (which would include your xbox profile)

At least thats how things would normally work in this sort of situation.

Hi guys,

I have an xbox live account that I used to play on several years ago. However, I accidentally deleted an old email address, email address that was attached to this xbox live account... And so I can no longer connect... Since then I have tried to contact Microsoft support but I can't. never got a clear answer...

The gamertag still exists on my console and in the friend search on https://account.xbox.com/

I've been struggling for years to find this account, do you have any idea how to do it?

Did the emaip address associated with the account happen to me a Microsoft email such as outlook.com, hotmail.com, etc?

If so then when you deleted the email you would have also deleted your xbox account because they are both one in the same.

It was originally linked to an old email. But that drollshelf64876 was one that was created when I 1st got an Xbox account. As far as I'm concerned the drollshelf64876 gamertag can be deleted all together. But I don't want that gamertag linked to my email

if your gamertag is linked to an account, that account has an email, it is not possible to delete all emails from a profile without leaving any.
