    So I recently got a new phone and changed my phone number. Dumb move because like an idiot I didnt write down any of my password information. So now I am unable to access my old email (*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***) I have reached out to gmail and gmail is of no help. I
    am unable to access my old email as well as I cannot receive verification codes to my phone because of the new number. Here is my question for you. I am still able to access my Microsoft account for the xbox. Due to this problem with gmail I created a new
    microsoft account because I thought I had forgotten my password, So with this new account (*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***) my dad has paid for a year of xbox live for my son. Well there are a few games that we have downloaded under the old account (*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***) that we want
    to keep but the new account (*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***) has no games but the 1 year subscription to xbox live. Ugh I have royally done it now! Is there anyway we can merge the two account to one. Again I cant check the *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** account to verify anything. I was able
    to go through here and change my phone number but I cant change anything else till 02/05. Please advise me on how I am able to fix my fuggle up.

    We use the billing email for your account to send emails. You can change this information by going to the commerce page at (https://account.microsoft.com/), selecting "Edit your billing info", and then changing
    your billing email from that screen.

    There is no way to merge accounts and nothing canbe tranaferred between accounts. If the old account had the console set as its Home, the games would be shared with the new account.

    Hey tierranalian! To disassociate that email address from the 'Tierranalin' you'll need to change the Microsoft Account email tied to it. You should be able to do this by signing into that gamertag 'Tierranalin' on your console and changing it to a brand
    new Microsoft Account email. That will free up the email to associate it with your 'tierranalian' gamertag! Let us know if these are the steps you were looking for. :)

    Yes it’s only my own emails. The support person said that they aren’t allowed to remove the email. They never gave a response when I asked why they could not.

    create your own account, leave the parents account as set as home console, you get to play all the games then, should have created your won account in the beginning.
