Email from Xbox in wrong language

I received my email from Xbox in the wrong language. It was regarding the gold games offered for this month. When I clicked thru, the site was also in that language...never happened before. The pictures were correct and the logo. I have no idea what language
it was...Italian, maybe? When I go to the site directly it is in english. My account language has always been english. Will this continue? Has this happened to anyone else?

I received it in Portuguese. Links all went to the Portuguese version of the site. All other emails have been in English. Other people on Reddit have mentioned seeing this as well. It does look like an error with the mailing list.

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. I see this is the first time this has ever happened, but have you kept running into this? Or was this just recent and you have not received any other emails?

Not too sure why it would send out the email in a different language but I would suggest giving it sometime to see if it was possibly an isolated incident or if it's a continuing issue.

I just experienced the same issue, and it has not happened before. When I went to check my account settings, and filled out my zip code (which I needed to update anyway) it tried to autofill to Macao, SAR. I definitely live in Missouri, so at first I thought
that may be the issue, but that wouldn't be the right language for that region either.

Hopefully future emails from Xbox will be correct.

As suggested by XBF Ezra G we recommend going through the Microsoft Account to
check the information on your account is correct on the Microsoft Account site. Give it a shot and let us know if the issue continues so we can deeper investigate
this issue!
