email communications in different langugage than what i've set in my microsoft account...

Thank you for all the replies, but I figured it out. What happened was when I registered the game pass promo code I did it under a different Microsoft account than the one my laptop was registered to. So under account options on the game pass app it showed
one email logged into the xbox app and a different email (the wrong email) logged into the Microsoft store. So I had to switch my Microsoft store account to match my xbox game pass app email. I've never been on any app or program that it was possible to login
to 2 different accounts so it wasnt something I would have known to look for. Thanks again!

2 different email addresses, one of which was set up as a child account that I've managed to set up as an alias on my Microsoft account The problem with that is he uses a different Xbox at his mum's account, so i can't make them both my home one.

I do not understand what an unlocked Xbox is, I've never set one up before because my dad set my old one up as a child.

I am using a new email than my old account because my old account was my dads email.

it allows me to login on my original account, but it also gives the option to log into my account using a different email address that is not mine. I receive this code whenever I try to use a Microsoft application. I've tried looking for this other email on settings, but I can't find it anywhere as either an alias or some other account.

You signed in with a different email than what is with the account that is associated with your xbox 360 profile you can find the email associated with that profile by signing in on the account on the 360 going to settings and account and then billing info
and it will show you the email address that is associated with that gamer tag
