Elite series 2 software bug

Issue started this morning . Turned xbox on, loaded into a game and my controller was being really weird. Some buttons wouldn't work or be extremely delayed. So I go into the accessory app to test each button. It tells me I have my right thumbstick pressed down (it wasnt). So I try changing controller profiles to default. Now it tells me my Y button is pressed down (it wasnt). When I switch between the 3 profiles on my controller it switches between Y and the right thumbstick being pressed down. I've already deleted the profiles and remade them and it did not fix it. I saw a post by someone last year but the mods shut it down before giving him or anybody else in the community a chance to respond .

I don't have a computer to hook it up to. But I tried using the USB cable to connect to my Xbox and it didn't fix anything . Also my warranty has expired

I noticed it when the light started to bother me, but I tried it with my classic elite 2 and elite core, I can never keep the light setting in place.. . Could it be a software problem? It seems illogical that there is just a bug that affects this

This constantly happens with my Elite 2 except on my Xbox Series X exactly how you describe it. I assumed it was a software issue with the Xbox, but if I'm understanding you correctly you are connected directly to your tv via bluetooth. This leads me to believe this may instead be a hardware/software issue with the Elite 2.

Hopefully this context helps any advisors that may look into this.

I have the very same issue with my Xbox Elite Controller Series 2. Very annoying indeed.

How can the Xbox firmware not be recognized by the PC software? Huge oversight by Microsoft...
