  1. Elite Series 2 Rumble Triggers behaving strange

Got my elite v2 today, let it charge first. After pairing it for first time with my Xbox it prompted me to the firmware update (4.8.1908.0) After having it updated I went straight into the accessories app to make a profile for my f1 eSports playoff qualifying. There I got a prompt which asked me, if I’d like to import my profiles from my series 1 elite controller. Thought: not bad. But.... Now my triggers won’t output 100% rumble/forced feedback anymore while playing or like, when you hold the Xbox button (the buzz is weak, like the impulse triggers were set at 25%ish) Strangely, when going into the accessories app, if I use the slider to adjust rumble works perfectly fine. It saves it at 100% like normal, but as soon as I do something else which involves them they are practically not usable for me, as I tend to rely on them (feedback for f1 w\o is number one priority for me)

Elite Series 2 - Problem with trigger rumble

    Hi Carmelo,

Thank you for the response! The best thing to do is to make sure everything is up to date. The controller (using the provided USB cable), the Xbox One, and your Windows 10 PC. It's very important to use the provided USB cable to update the Elite series 2,
    wireless is not preferred.

    Xbox One:

    1. Make sure your console is connected to the internet, and then press the
      Xbox
      button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings.
    3. Select System > Updates & downloads.
    4. Under "Updates", you’ll see:
      • Console update available. Select this button to begin your update, or
      • No console update available. This means your console is up to date.

    Windows 10: Select the Start
button, and then go to Settings > Update & Security
    > Windows Update.
Get the Windows 10 May 2019 Update.

Microsoft Store on Windows 10 (to update your Xbox related apps):
On the taskbar or Start menu, select Microsoft Store
    > More >
Downloads and updates > Get updates.

    Controller on Xbox: Press the
    Xbox
button to open the guide, choose System >
    Settings, select System >
Kinect & devices > Devices & accessories, and then select the controller you want to update. Select
Device info, select the Firmware version box, and then select
    Continue.

    Controller on Windows 10:

    1. Open the Xbox Accessories app.
    2. Connect your controller by using the provided USB cable

Note You'll be prompted to update to Windows 10 Anniversary Edition if you haven't yet done so.
    3. When the controller is connected, you'll see the message Update Required if an update is mandatory. Install the update or force the update manually.

Please confirm that your device's OS is up to date and that you've updated the Elite Series 2 controller using the provided USB cable through the Xbox Accessories app.

Elite Series 2 - Problem with trigger rumble

    Hi Carmelo,

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

Does the controller experience this behavior on both the Xbox One console and a Windows 10 PC?

Does the controller exhibit this behavior while plugged in via the cable provided and wireless?

In the Xbox Accessories app, when selecting the Vibration test, does the vibration feel at full percent when at 100%?

Have you updated the controller's firmware in the Xbox Accessories app with the provided cable?

I'm not sure if the controller is designed to dial back the vibration in the menus but the vibration should feel at full percent while playing games, unless the game settings has a vibration feature as well. If the game does not have vibration settings you
should feel the expected power of it being at 100% like it would feel in the vibration test in the app.

Answer those questions for us so we have a better idea about the issue you are experiencing.

Hello this could happen because the battery power in the controller is low please consider replacing them and see if that works.

Elite Series 2 - Problem with trigger rumble

    Hi Carmelo,

Unfortunately I am not able to open that video on my end to visualize what you are referring to.

If the controller's vibration does not feel normal while playing different games on both your Xbox One and your Windows 10 PC, then your only other option would be to return the controller for another one. You have a few options on how to return the controller.
You can take it back to the retailer you got it from to exchange it for another one, as most retailers usually have a 30 day return warranty for console's and accessories. You can use the self-service controller replacement form to request an exchange through
    the following link:
    Replace your controller

Or you can contact Xbox customer support to help you with the process:

    1. Contact us here
    2. Select Xbox One
    3. Select See other options
    4. Select Payment & billing under Account management
    5. Select show contact options and go to step 4
    6. Select "Request a call from Support" if available within hours of operation or there should be a number for you to call and hours of operation for your region

    I hope this helps!
