Elite Series 2 Controller USB doesn't work anymore, Bluetooth works fine.

I've been using my Elite series 2 pro controller for awhile, and the USB port no longer enables connection to the pc. The White XBOX LOGO light used to immediately come on when I plugged in the controller, but now it simply doesn't light up no matter what cord or port I use to plug it in with. I had no issues for months of use prior to this. Was hoping to get years of use out of the controller.

Bluetooth is hit and miss with my thick aluminum case, and I like the responsiveness and feel of having it plugged in.

I'm stumped, as I've never had an issue like this, and all other controllers work that I have including series x controllers. The tiny led light beneath the XBOX logo symbol shows that power is entering the controller, but it won't register, or light up the xbox logo while plugged in with various usb c cords, in various ports.

I'm having the same issue since the update 10/13/2022. None of my controllers will power on. Wired or wireless. Batteries have been replaced an new wire purchased to see if that was the issue. Can't do anything. Need a fix ASAP.

I understand you need help on your controller.

Try to check if the controller needs an update or if it registers when you try to get an update.

If that does not help still, I would already advise to have the controller sent in for service as it could already be a hardware problem.

Once registered, you will see an option to start a repair order.

The new update on windows broke all of my controllers. I've been going through them without having any success in getting them to work properly.

Hi,

I try to connect my Xbox Elite wireless controller series 2 via bluetooth on my Ipad Pro 11 inch 2018, but it can't make connection or won't be recognized. The series 2 controller supports bluetooth. I can make connection with the other older version Xbox
One S wireless controller immediately.

I'd make a phone call with Apple support and they said that maybe the problem could be that the Xbox Elite controller series 2 won't be supported and isn't compatible with Ipad.

I want to know guys if you had the same problem and I want to ask if there will be an update in the future to solve this problem?

At the moment the series 2 elite controller is not compatible with Iphones/Ipads. At the moment the only device that the series 2 controller is available on IOS side is the Mac and even that it's janky. Series 2 controller works fine on Android at the moment.
