elite series 2 controller - slightly pressing left stick activates the right trigger

Hi Beau,

I don't think it's possible at this moment to map the right or left sticks to assign them to specific buttons. What you can do is map clicking in the right stick into press Right Trigger. But the only customization with the sticks are swapping the left and the right, or inverting the Y axis.

I don't personally own the adaptive controller, but trying these settings with the Elite Series 2 controller does not allow me to do so. If there are any more questions, please let me know.

Hey I have got an Elite Series 2 controller the day it was released and it's a really good controller in my opinion. The only thing that I have a problem with is the bumpers LB and RB. They move twice when pressed instead of once like it should. I try moving
tabs on Xbox Home by pressing the bumpers and it goes to far right or left kind of annoying at times.

Other than that its a good controller the trigger stops are nice as well and the paddles are smaller than the Previous Elite Controller.

get off of the aggressive setting destiny is not compatible with it

i have a elite controller tried the same setting and destiny doesnt like it one bit

i would recommend the standard setting here is how you do that and make a custom key map for destiny thats bullet proof.

1. go back to regular analog stick control like i said the aggressive doesnt work

2. Attach 2 only paddles one on the left and one on the right these will become your lock on and fire.

3. flip the switch on the right trigger and the left trigger this will prevent long travel and help with the paddles to respond faster via firmware update

ok are you ready to customize here is how to do it

save a new customization call it destiny

go to button mapping press and hold the right paddle until the icon on the screen changes then press the right trigger you now have set fire

while in button mapping press and hold the left paddle until the same icon comes up and press the left trigger.

now save the option into slot 2 or 1 your choice.

now remove the stock analog sticks and go for the medium ones not the tall ones

now your controller is ready to rock destiny style

and it works amazing with this configuration i can run across the map target head shots and keep running with flippers totally amazing

maybe someone remapped the button on your controller where the left thumb stick would activate trigger. Try resettinb the elite controller to default. If that doesn’t solve the issue then you would nees to get the controller replaces (if its in warranty)
or purchase a new controller

Try this procedure: right stick, select one of the sensitivity presets.

Scroll to Xbox Elite Wireless Series 2 Controller and select Configure. Select a profile to adjust or create a new one. Select the Edit button and on the Left Stick or D-pad tab
