Elite Series 2 Controller - PC Driver?

I'm running 64-bit Windows 8.1 Pro and my new series 2 controller gets recognized only for a moment and then charges when I plug it into the USB. It doesn't recognize it as a MS Xbox controller or let me download any drivers. My son is trying to connect
the controller to p[lay Fortnite. Help!

Hi Lucas, there is no Elite Series 2 controller driver only show 360 controller I uninstalled the driver, restart computer and connect the controller and still have the problem sorry

All my bluetooth drivers are up to date, the elite series 2 controller did not come with a wireless adapter

If you are trying to play with it plugged in, try using another micro USB cable. Some cables don’t support data transfer. You may have to purchase a cable that does support data transfer. Would you please try to uninstall its driver from Windows and install it again?

Click on Start > Search Device Manager > Click on it.

Expand “Xbox Controllers”.

Right-click the Elite Series 2 Controller and select “Uninstall”.

Click “OK” to confirm.

Then, connect it again to the PC and install its driver again.

After that, test to see if it helps with your problem. If you still have this issue, would you please let me know what app are you using to map the Elite Series 2? Are you using Xbox Accessories App?
