    Elite series 2 bumper repair


    Hello,

    I have went through the options on the xbox devices page to see about sending my controller to be repaired cause of an issue with the left bumper.

    When filling out the information it gave me the option of paying £75 for a replacement accessory as its out of warranty with no need to send the controller.

    I'm wanting to know if the accessory is a replacement controller or just the part and kit to repair myself?

    I just want to be sure as with my controller being out of warranty I'd have expected to have to pay full price and send it back if I'm being offered a replacement.

    I     tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

    Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

    Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.

    Oh, Wow. Then I would suggest to go for it if that is the case. Anyway, you will be receiving instructions to your email after processing it. It is not a repair kit since they do not have those options, that is definitely a controller replacement.
    Yes - I have just order it and it says they will be sending me a replacement device as my bumpers also broken.

    Only cost £75 so we’ll worth it on my eyes (warranty had run out)

    I've check some of the other options and it still gives me the same message.

    Out of warranty - send immediately £75.18

    A replacement accessory will be sent immediately. You are not required to return your non-functioning item.
