    Elite Series 2, 6th replacement broken out of the box!


    I am done buying these controllers. I have 2 of them and both are with faulty bumpers. I have sent in both of these in for repair and have had 6 replacements. THAT IS A TOTAL OF 12 CONTROLLERS!!!!! And all of them are broken out of the bow! Its either bumpers again, stick drift, face buttons not working. I have a part time job now, it involves getting them delivered, testing them for 10 minutes, packing them back up, sending them back. Microsoft, 12 [mod removed] controllers, in a row. I am never buying these pieces of [mod removed] ever again. $400 wasted dollars. Do not buy these controllers. Somehow the regular series x controller thats $50 is indestructible, but a $200, nah, broken out of the box. 12 Times In A Row!!!!!!!!

    no don't buy an elite series 2 because ive had 2 brand new elite series 2 and they where both broken out of the box

    Is it normal for both analog sticks to be pulled up and pushed down a bit on a new xbox Controller

    I have no problem with the standard series X and X box one pads

    but my Elite Series 2 has a lot of stick issues and the tension tighten tool

    thing was not in the sealed box with the new core controller

    despite it being on the box it should be include, my pad replaced

    the broken Black one which came with everything but broke the

    next day I am hoping the Elite Series 3 is better, it would be nice

    if they did a version with advanced chat audio and EQ like

    one of the Branded Licenced controllers do, but hey gone off topic a bit.

    The Elite Controllers are pretty easy to work on. I just replaced a broken bumper on my Elite Series 1. It took about 20 minutes. You can find replacement parts on Amazon easily. Many companies have their own websites if you don't want to buy from Amazon.
    There are plenty of videos on Youtube how to take apart and replace what is broken. I would recommend checking out the videos first to see if you want to give it try.

    Warranties cover a like for like replacement if required under that warranty so as far as I know, yes, if you send an Elite series 2 in for replacement you will receive an Elite series 2 back.
