    Elite Controller Won’t Pair for Mobile Games


    I’ve recently obtained an elite Xbox controller. I like to play CoD mobile and Minecraft PE with my controller attached and thought it would be nice to try and use the Elite controller instead of the stock Xbox remote. It connects through Bluetooth, but will not even show as paired in any of my games. CoD won’t even recognize there’s actually a device connected. Both games work perfectly fine with the regular controller. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m under the impression the elite controllers are supposed to be compatible with mobile gaming. Is there anything I can do to fix it/force it?

    Hello again Chris, if it works normally with a normal controller, try unpairing your Elite 2 by connecting it to a mobile phone for example and then re-pairing on Xbox, if it doesn't work the idea would send it to the Microsoft warranty.

    Updates:

    Paired both controllers to console at the same time. Both controllers lost and regain sync at the same time.

    Paired Elite controller to iPhone. No disconnects.

    Paired one controller to console and other to phone. Controller connected to console disconnected, controller connected to iPhone stayed connected.
