Elite Controller Sensitivity Configuration

Go into the Xbox Accessories App to configure your controller settings. For Elite controllers, there should be options to adjust stick sensitivity.

Take a look in the Xbox Accessories app (which can be found in the apps section of the "My Games & Apps" menu), which configures specific actions on your Elite controller.

There should be a setting that sets the range of sensitivity in the triggers. Give that an adjustment and see if it helps.

According to
https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/use-accessories-app-configure-elite-controller, under Edit and then Trigger Sensitivity, the default should be that you require the full movement of the trigger for 100% of the input. The app
should let you adjust this accordingly to match up with the hair trigger settings if you so wish.
