Elite controller not responding

Alright so I recently bought a red core Xbox series 2 elite controller to use with my pc. However, when it’s connected through Bluetooth and I just wanna state this the logo is solid it shows connected on my pc but when trying to play Fortnite no buttons respond. But when it’s connected by wire it works just fine.

We understand you are having issues with the Elite controller not working on Fortnite when connected via Bluetooth. It could be possible that the issue is with the in-game settings since the controller is working fine when using a wired connection.
To fix the issue, we highly suggest trying these steps.
Solution 1:

Open Fortnite
Click on the main menu and then Settings
Go to Mouse and Keyboard
Scroll down to “Ignore Gamepad Input” and switch it to “On”

Solution 2:
Unplug any other peripherals that may interfere with the controller.

Solution 3:

Sign out all users and start Fortnite again with the Xbox account you want to play on.
Restart your PC and check again the game to see if it works.

hi my elite 2 controller don't respond anymore.

not one button, stick or paddles work but the controller is "on"= "home button" has light on...

i can't turn the controller off

when i open the accessories app there is only my standard controller displayed.

connecting to xbox with usb cable doing nothing

when i put them in the case: no "vibration"

on the elite 1 you can simply remove the battery but on elite 2 it's impossible.

is there a trick to turn the controller off and on?

Thanks for replying! In relation to the Elite controller, it does come with after sales service in that the warranty on the device itself is 1 year and covers the functionality of the controller (responding to buttons, thumbsticks, bumpers,etc). If you've
