Elite Controller Mic Input Problems

Last month I sent in my elite controller 1 to get serviced as the mic input jack was no longer working. The mic would not work using any headsets I had. I had to be without my controller for about 10 days and when I got a supposedly new one back it still
didn't work! Yes I know for sure it's the controller as the headset worked with other controllers I have plus multiple headsets into the elite controller wouldn't work.

When I send my controller in does really new one come back or a refurbished one?

Is it that common of an issue where I shouldnt expect it to ever work for long?

Excellent thanks I agree that's probably the best option at this point.

Yes like I said, tried multiple known working headsets. All work with my 2 other controllers and not my newer elite. No adapters, and config wont fix it, it's a hardware failure of the input mic jack.

And you tried use other Headset? You are using some Adaptor?

Try Reconfigure your Controller in Configuratio > System > Acessories & Kinect

Hello Kyle,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. With most accessories you receive replacements. Have you tried updating controller with the headset plugged in? Also, you could try the

stereo headset adapter as it is a different way to connect into the controller.
