Elite controller has strong chemical smell

Has an exchange of your controller helped? Cause I received my Elite Core yesterday with the same chemical smell. Now I wonder if all Elites have this problem and all other people accept that or if just few have this smell which comes from the rubber material.

Same thing here. I bought it today and there is bad chemical smell. This is supposed to be a quality product. Very disappointed.

I didn’t bother exchanging it, I just returned it. I don’t know if the smell was from the plastic, but it certainly smelled more like a bad battery to me.

I never read them anyway.

Its actually the manual that adds to the majority of the new game smell. Due to the chemicals used in the printing process.
