    I have an elite controller that the rubber grip is almost completely off. It is not torn or ripped. It is out of warranty but can it be fixed? Isn't this a known issue?

    plastic cement can usually fix that, but beware once the rubber is worn it may be time for a new one

    Are the more recent Xbox One controllers of better quality?

    Most controller I've had have lasted 2-3 year (if treated) that are Xbox branded, however the Xbox elite controller over time the plastic grip will fall off and the magnet pieces can be frustrating in intense situations.
