Elite Controller (Gears of War Edition) Peeling and Stick Drift

So, on a multiple gaming sites, many owners of these limited edition controllers have had good experiences with Microsoft repairing them even after warranty.

I'm hoping for the same!

My red GoW elite controller has peeling rubber grips and some pretty gnarly stick drift, anyone had luck getting through to customer service for help? I've tried contacting xbox a few times, but theres seems to be, um, a bit of a language barrier.

Any ideas?

Word of warning in relation to the GoW Elite controller... they're impossible to find and odds are if you send it in, you will get back a regular Elite controller...

Just something to be aware of.

Elite controller has 1 year warranty, so if you are in the case, make a repair order to get a remplacement or a repair on it cause there is no way to solve drifting issue… You can call Xbox helpdesk to raise it > https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Great idea but executed poorly.

Grips peel by the 3 month mark.

Stick tension is so low that the longer sticks are a detriment to your aim.

Lost my first elite by month 9 or so to stick drift.
