    hello

    i have elite controller model 1698 and notebook alienware 17 R3 . with usb everything is ok.

    but i cant connet with bluetooth my controller

    i reinstall windows updated it ( windows 10 home ) . install xbox accessories and update my controller. but when i try to connect my pc just dont see the controller. i dont have USB bluetooth xbox adapter but i dont understand if i need it ? i have bluetooth
    in my pc why i need this adapter or what i must do to fix it ?

    i know this is his question but he said elite controller to a adapter not a regular xbox one controller on the link it says how to connect adapter from pc to xbox one controller he needs a elite controller adapter because all he is finding is regular xbox
    one adapters to pc which he stated do not work for his elite controller

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. I understand you are having issues with the elite controller V2 staying connected via Bluetooth and hard-wire. Do you have other controllers you can test out on your Pc to see if the issue is specific to the
    elite controller? If you don't have another controller, would you be able to test out the elite on a different Pc?

    Have you by any chance attempted to connect the controller directly to the PC through a wired connection?

    As well, you have mentioned that the controller that came with the Xbox One console is recognized on the PC, but that the elite controller is not recognized at all on the PC. This same elite controller, does it have any issues with connecting to the Xbox
    One console?

    Hi Neecko92,

    Seems like the only workaround now is to connect your Elite controller to a Xbox One console, and update your Elite controller via the Xbox One console. Then it will work on your PC again.
