Elite Controller 2 Core - Right stick doesn't hold firmly

Hi!

I've just received my new sealed Elite Controller 2 Core and noticed the following defect:

The right stick base is not magnetic at all. Left stick is holding okay, but the right one can be easily remover and seems to be holding by friction only. Should it be like that? Is there a way to fix this at home? All the rest seems to be working fine.

I've tried to google this, but got no results.

No, the right stick should not come loose easily. There seems to be a problem with the magnet or the base of the joystick.

Contact Microsoft support below and I'll leave you the link. They will be able to help you replace the controller.

How do I get a new Elite controller 2 because I'm having most of the issues like everyone else 🤔? My right stick drifts or the fighter pad doesn't work correctly?

same.

my 1st elite: crash gumi grips. send back to service, but i buy a new one for this 2 week. Try this new: right stick drift to right...

ok, my 1st elite came back, try this. left stick drift to right (fresh new controller from ms service)

ok i sent back this 2 broken Elites.

1-2 week done, get 2 new fresh Elites... tested... both new Elite's (my 3rd and 4th) left sticks drift to right...

my last 5 Elites broken, 3 fresh from Xbox Support. Thats a big joke.
