Elite Controller < 1 year old

Discus and support Elite Controller < 1 year old in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So disappointed. Our son received the Elite Series 2 Controller for Christmas 2019 and not long after the 90 day warranty he started noticing issues...     So disappointed. Our son received the Elite Series 2 Controller for Christmas 2019 and not long after the 90 day warranty he started noticing issues with the buttons sticking and his inability to use it effectively. We are very disappointed in the correlation
    between the cost of the controller, the length of warranty, and the inability to speak with someone about our issue. He is 11 years old so is certainly not abusing the controller. Obviously based on the other comments, there has been issues with this controller.
    While there may have been fixes made in 2020 to resolve the issues, it does not provide a remedy for those that spent money prior. Based on its cost of > $150 it is NOT a disposable product. Please provide a resolution.

    Has Elite 2 controller solved the problem of rubber hand grips peeling off?

    I have had 1 Elite Controller grips peal but that was 2 year old, I do see that they have added the grips all the way around the controller this time I sure up it a lot better

    I have my elite for a lot of time and with me the rubber grips went off with 1 year of use, last month was a broken bumper. I had to replace the bumpers of my old controller.

    My Day 1 Controller drifts and I had to purchase another one because it was over a year old and therefore out of warranty.

    My wife eventually surprised me with an Elite controller.

    One of the reasons I wouldn't have bought myself an Elite controller is that the XBox ONE is the only system I've ever had to purchase a new controller for. Never been an issue for any other console.
