Elite back pads not working

So I’m playing mafia and all of a sudden all my back pads stopped working so I turned off my controller and that didn’t work so I tried checking my presets and that didn’t work so I tried controller testing mode and it still didn’t work?

Based on your description, you in the middle of the game when you were unable to use your back pads. We know how important it is for you to use back paddles while gaming.

Did you recall locking the paddles of Xbox Elite Wireless Controller? Locking the paddles will help you avoid pressing on them accidentally.

Press the Pair button

twice. Your controller motors will vibrate a few times to confirm. To unlock the paddles, press the Pair button

twice again (your controller will vibrate once to confirm).

Got the same issue.

Have a PS5 pad routinely updated via the console and works FLAWLESSLY on PC.

But buying a MS Elite pad that has been updated by a MS console that is pretty much USELESS on a PC running MS Windows is beyond ridiculous.

Add to that there are complaints about this issue dating back to Oct 2021, and we're 6 months later in Apr 2022... No thanks, returning in the morning, and going back to the Sony pad that works as it should.

Yes its apparently brand new all the buttons work except the 4 back add on bumpers

Sorry to hear what you are experiencing. Have you reset the controller to default settings to see if that helps?
